Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka's birthplace is Minsk located in Belarus. Sergey (d.2019) played ice hockey. Aryna Sabalenka was birthed in Minsk on 5 May 1998. Her career has seen her won twelve WTA singles titles, including the Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open. As a specialist of doubles she has also won the US Open of 2019 as and her first Australian Open of 2021 with Elise Mertens. Alongside Mertens, the Belgian tennis player, she won WTA 1000s at Indian Wells in 2019 and Miami. The feat was achieved by four couples in female doubles. The world's singles ranking rose yet again, reaching its top position in January 2023. She rose up to the top of the doubles ranking the year following, having winning the doubles title in Melbourne. She became the second Belarusian tennis player succeed in her field. Dmitry Tursunov coached her between 2018 and the end of 2019 as well as a beginning of 2020. There was a brief collaboration with Dieter Kindlmann in August until September of 2020. She is being trained by her native nationman Antonio Dubrov since the end of 2020. Serena Williams is her role for a role model, closely being followed by Maria Sharapova.
